This webinar will be delivered by Dr. Edward (Ted) Roberts, Professor and Associate Head (Research), Department of Chemical and Petroleum Engineering, Schulich School of engineering at The University of Calgary. Dr. Roberts will introduce his research in the area of redox flow batteries for energy storage and water treatment technologies.
Ted Roberts is a Professor and Associate Head (Research) in the Department of Chemical & Petroleum Engineering at the University of Calgary. He is Director of the CREATE ME2 program, and Associate Director of CAESR-Tech. He has over 27 years of experience in the field of electrochemical technology. Dr. Roberts’ research activities include energy engineering; energy conversion, storage and distribution; batteries; electricity management; fuel cells/electrolysis cells; sustainable energy; environmental remediation and water treatment.He is a co-inventor on more than 20 granted patents, and he is the founder of successful UK start-up company Arvia Technology Ltd.
