We are so excited for our first event both for the year and for our new chapter! Planning for our kick-off event is now complete and we invite graduate students, post doctoral fellows, and faculty members working in the electrochemical field, both at UWaterloo as well as other nearby universities to attend our introductory event. In addition to introducing our student chapter and its goals and plans, we will have a panel with our four faculty advisors to share their personal perspectives on the field in academia as well as in industry. There will also be a short game of trivia over dinner with a prize for the attendee with the highest score as well as a raffle prize for our social media followers! We hope to meet you all at our event and don't forget to follow us on social media!
