About the event

Our second Electrochemistry Techniques workshop on Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy will be hosted by Dr. Aslan Kosakian. Dr. Aslan Kosakian is a post-doctoral fellow at the Energy Systems Design Laboratory at the University of Alberta, whose PhD work focused on numerical modeling of the transient transport processes in polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cells (PEMFCs), including the development of an open-source platform to characterize PEMFCs through electrochemical impedance spectroscopy.

In this workshop, you’ll learn general information about the method, the math behind impedance spectroscopy, some basic electrical circuits, and example analytical/numerical models of catalyst-layer impedance
